What Causes Insomnia?

Stress, anxiety and tension play a role in up to 80% of insomnia cases. The causes can include physical conditions, psychological conditions (such as depression or anxiety) or a combination of both. The good news is hypnotherapy can help with anxiety and depression too.

In my experience client’s often suffer from insomnia as a symptom of anxiety or have developed sleep issues during periods of stress. After the issues were resolved the sleeplessness persisted – in one case for 25 years!
